Forged Twizzle Earrings with stone drops

Each pair of earrings in this collection is unique and different.  The dangles drop about 1 3/4" from the ear.  The 14k goldfill wire is forged and hammered and suspends a beautiful stone. 

Stone Choices

Blue druzy slice- This beautiful blue druzy is framed in goldplate. What is a druzy? It is the glittering effect tiny crystals have when they are spread over the surface of a stone. Druzies occur naturally in minerals like amethyst, chalcedony, agate, calcite- the list goes on!! Because each stone is natural, each one is unique and may vary slightly. 

Blue chalcedony- beautiful faceted medium blue chalcedony round stone nestled between two vermeil Bali beads.

Clear quartz- faceted quartz stone nestled between two vermeil Bali beads. The result is elegant and will go with everything in your wardrobe.

Pyrite- polished pyrite slice edged in goldplate. Please note, the second photo with swirl earrings is included to show you the beautiful color of pyrite. It’s so hard to capture in a photo...

Twizzle

Each piece in this collection is a delightful combination of semiprecious stones and “twizzles” of silver or gold. What’s a twizzle? It’s a fantastic, funky shape that is created when silver or gold is forged, formed, hammered, smithed, and soldered with great imagination to create a unique work of art.

Knots of Love Stone Goldfill Swirl Earrings

Inspired by an anniversary gift many years ago, these Knots of Love earrings are lightweight and eye-catching. Each pair of earrings in this collection is unique and different.  The dangles drop about 1 1/2" from the ear. Each pair of earrings is handcrafted by the artist and is not just a bunch of purchased components wired together. The gold wire is 14K gold-fill. 

Stone choices

Blue Chalcedony- Topped by a faceted bright blue chalcedony stone, these earrings have two loops showcasing the Twizzle swirl. 

Ruby- The coin shaped ruby is edged in gold plate and is a wonderful deep raspberry color.

Labradorite- The slice of labradorite edged in gold plate has a beautiful shimmer with flashes of blue, green, pink, and black.

Pyrite- Pyrite is a tough stone to photograph but the color is an earthy neutral with just a hint of green and shimmers of gold. The pyrite slice is edged in goldplate.
